This is a beautiful place to visit. The grounds are stunning. We went on a tour of the castle and information is provided in both French and English. This used to be a guided tour but now you can walk around at your leisure.
There is visible renovation being done to the roof and walls which makes the castle even more impressive.
Suitable for all ages, its a place I would return too.
Beautiful castle, with very good information about it's history.
Nice architecture, gardens mainly laid out to lawn, tour was ok, most of the signs were translated into English apart from the art installation signs. The art will change round but we saw a great modern interpretation of lace making in plastic light conducting fibres.
Many varieties of apple and pear trees in the walled garden. The gate house is spectacular and the chateau is really worth a visit. Most areas are accessible free of charge. If you have children take bread for the fish in the moat.
Nice castle in the middle of nowhere
We visited while on holiday and it was a great decision! The château is impressive and certainly worth a trip! It was notably not too busy despite our visit being in June, but the car park certainly has room for more! There weren't any long walks, and entry was reasonably priced. Although our tour was exclusively in French, it was still very worthwhile as we got to see many of the rooms and experience the ambiance of the interior. The gift shop was also lovely and staff were so helpful despite our fairly poor French!
Very nice castle. Small, but beautyfull.
Brilliant château not your normal fairytale looking place but full of character, a must see if you're in the area.
